Until now the name ‘Absolute’ has been reserved only for our very best, top-end poles, but when we had our team of star consultants literally arguing about who got to use each of the samples, there was clearly only one name appropriate for this stunning range of rods.

Manufactured using the most advanced carbon blanks, the Absolute rod range have been designed for natural venues with traditional styles of fishing, but are more than capable of landing plenty of match carp. This is without doubt the best complete range of rods since the launch of the Carbon Active brand.

There are times when a 13ft rod is excessive or not needed, this new addition to our flagship rod range is perfect for those occasions. Incredibly light and crisp, this stunning rod has a delightful fish playing action. The delicate hollow tip cushions any sudden lunges and is ideal for light hooklengths and small hooks.

The 13ft Super Float is a beautifully refined, responsive rod, and is the result of 12 months continual development to produce a rod suitable for a world champion. The tip section features two additional guides to the standard 13ft Float, which help to provide a slightly softer but ultimately more precise action. A superb rod in every respect.

With a slightly more powerful through action compared to the Super Float, the 13ft Float is ideal for all variations of waggler fishing. The hollow tip is soft enough to cope with light hooklengths and small hooks, but seamlessly transfers the power into the mid-section when larger fish are hooked.

Having a similar action to the 13ft Float, the Absolute 14ft offers greater line control and casting ability, making it perfect for both rivers and stillwaters using fine hooklengths for silver fish or small carp. The fine hollow tip has a fast action that blends perfectly into the mellow actioned mid section.

Designed for all-round river work and distance float fishing, the 15ft Float is the perfect tool when casting performance and ultra fast line pick up are required. Featuring an advanced blend of carbon, the 15ft Float has a lightning fast tip speed that makes it suitable for delicate styles of fishing with light hooklengths and small hooks.

No traditional styled flagship range would be complete without a true long rod. The 17ft Float, as with the rest of the Absolute range, has a light and responsive action. Featuring a fine tip action, with stiffness and power in the butt and middle section. The guide quantity and spacing have been carefully selected to maximise performance.
